Long Island Songwriter / Musicians Steve Farella & Pete Colombo craft a message of unity for the United States; "That's All I'm Asking For".
Manager / Producer Howie Harnick teams up Steve (Guitars), and Pete (Vocals) with famed Nashville Producer / Engineer Ed Seay, and 5 of the best session players on the planet; Pat Buchanan (Guitars), Tim Akers (Keys), Biff Watson (Acoustic Guitars), Paul Leim (Drums / Percussion), and Alison Prestwood (Bass), on September 14, 2007 at Starstruck Studios in Nashville to record an "Anthem of Unity For America". While in Nashville the guys recorded their second single, "We're Gonna Be Alright."
Their union was completed by partnering with The Coalition To Salute America's Heroes, an organization that supports severely wounded veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Steve and Pete, performing as 42nd & Nelson, officially launched "That's All I'm Asking For" as the Coalition's theme song on December 4, 2007 in Orlando. The performance was part of the Coalition's 2007 Road to Recovery Convention. The guys were backed up by members of Leann Rimes' and Gretchen Wilson's tour bands led by Tim Akers.

During the summer of 1999 Steve Farella and Pete Colombo were both working independently on original projects. Steve was busy with a six song CD woven with styles ranging from progressive southern rock to instrumental ballads while Pete was writing traditional and contemporary country tunes and in the process of putting together players to record his first country CD. A mutual friend suggested to Pete that Steve's guitars would be perfect for this project.
After a few rehearsals a musical bond began to form and it became very clear that their solo projects would soon take a back seat to a collaborative effort of writing, recording, and producing.
The guys made their first trip to Nashville in 2001, and were fortunate enough to spend some time with ASCAP Vice President Ralph Murphy, who forever changed their outlook on writing.
In 2004 Howie walked into their lives and took them to another level. Shortly after meeting Howie, a special song was written. The guys always believed that this one had the potential to someday make a positive impact.
"That's All I'm Asking For" is that song, and that someday is today.
